A climate group took direct action against Heathrow Airport on Monday, which
stopped a number of flights. The action was in protest at the airport's historic, current and future contribution to climate change, particularly in view of the recommendation to build a third runway at Heathrow.

Plane Stupid were very disappointed to hear the announcement from Sir Howard Davies this week that the Airports Commission unanimously backs a third runway at Heathrow.
