Right now in Brussels a collective of undocumented migrants are on their 51st day of hunger strike to protest the impossible cruelty of being denied a path to regularisation.

Like most European countries, including the UK, Belgium has been steadily reducing available pathways for migrants to safely settle. At the same time, the labour market takes advantage of the thousands of workers whose papers lapse or fail to materialise. Some of those who end up undocumented were born in Belgium, others fled violence and then spent years battling with the administrative system to obtain the right documentation. They have all built their lives there - but their suffering does not interest the system.

Stand in solidarity with the strikers and all undocumented migrants - write to the Belgian Government today.

Write to the Belgian government - solidarity with the hunger strikers!
The cruelty of keeping people without a path to regularisation is all too familiar to migrants in the UK as well.
On Monday, MPs will debate the issue in Parliament while outside Regularise and other migrants rights groups will hold a solidarity rally. Join us to support them.

When: 19 July, 5-7 PM
Where: 10 Downing Street, London

Solidarity!
