Conference will be held in Birmingham on Saturday 11th and Sunday
12th March 2023! With Spring
Conference nearing, the Prioritisation Ballot has opened for
2 weeks, closing on the 3rd February at 23:59. we have
produced some advice on voting. Our
recommendations are below, the most effective way to vote is to rank
all motions in the ballot. When you rank things highly, it gives
them extra weight in the overall calculation. Similarly, when you rank things
low, it helps produce a lower position in the final order than would have
been the case if you hadn’t ranked them at all. For this reason, it is
important to produce an exhaustive ranking of all motions in each category.
If you rank only your top preferences, you miss the opportunity for your
wishes to count on those motions that should be lowest in the pecking order.” |
