Lewes CND Hiroshima & Nagasaki Commemoration
8:30pm, 6th August
Under the Phoenix Causeway, Lewes BN7 2LD
Lewes CND invites everyone to join our commemoration of those who died and all who became
ill as a result of the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945, as well
as all those since who have suffered the ill effects of nuclear power.
Join them to float candles. Please note that this year Lewes CND will not be bringing numbers of ready-made candles for everyone who comes. Instead they invite you to make your own floating candle. You need a buoyant base, a night light, a paper shade to stop it being blown out, and a means of keeping it all together.
Please phone Susan on 01273 473912 for more information.
