Lobby the Governors, 12th May 4:30pm

London Metropolitan University UCU is now balloting for strike action and action short of strike in a fight to stop a further 165 job cuts. They  believe these cuts will seriously damage the viability of the university.

The London Met Board of Governors will be meeting on the evening of Tuesday, 12 May, and Unison and UCU, with strong student and community support, have called a mass lobby outside of the governors (4:30-6pm, Central House, 59-63 Whitechapel High Street, E1 7PF).
The London Retired Members branch banner will be there, please try and come to support our colleagues.
The unions at London Met are also asking supporters to sign an open letter to the governors. More details here...
