Protest this Thursday against Fracking in Blackpool

Protest this Thursday against Fracking in Blackpool

I am emailing to see if you – or colleagues from UCU and Unison – would be available to attend a photo-opportunity outside the inquiry this Thursday at 9.30am?

Thursday is when the Chamber of Commerce will be giving evidence, and the aim of the photo opp is to show that fracking is not supported by Lancashire businesses and will not bring jobs.

The photo will be of local business people holding a large copy of the business letter. We hope that there will again be strong representation from unions, including banners and flags.

Unfortunately we will not be able to transport banners to Lancashire this week, but if you or local representatives would be able to attend representing UCU/ Unison, that would be great.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Rose
