Uprising: the october Rebellion in Ecuador is a detailed description and analysis of the Indigenous-led uprising of October 2019 in Ecuador, written by three people deeply involved in the revolt. The lead author, Leonidas Iza, was one of the central leaders of the rebellion.The authors describe the causes and conditions that produced the October explosion, the development and dynamics of the different social forces and organisations involved, and a evaluation of the limitations of the Citizen Revolution movement of the previous government of Rafael Correa.
