Green Party and Electoral Alliances: online open meeting 10 July 2025 VIDEO at https://youtu.be/6npbru7Sdyc
Is a united Left/Green alternative in English and Welsh politics an unattainable ambition or a realistic and urgently necessary possibility?
There are now four Green Party M.P.s in England, there is also a potential new party forming around Jeremy Corbyn and Zarah Sultana; plus, several Labour MPs who openly express dissent from the Starmer leadership. Could this be a basis for a new political force to counter the rise of Reform? But on what basis? A formal political alliance? Co-operation within
existing allegiances?
Green Left, an eco-socialist current within the Green Party of England and Wales organised an online open meeting to discuss these topics.
